What we store
Your game — money, home, job, orders and settings — is saved in your browser’s local storage on this device.
Accounts are optional. If you create one, we store your email address, a securely hashed password (handled by our authentication provider, Supabase) and a copy of your game so you can play it on other devices. Nothing else is collected. Signed out, nothing leaves your device.
What we don’t do
- No analytics, advertising or tracking cookies.
- No personal information is asked for beyond an email address, and only if you choose to create an account.
- No data is sold or shared.
Third parties
Product pictures are loaded from jsDelivr (Microsoft Fluent Emoji, MIT licence) and fonts from Google Fonts. Accounts and cloud saves are stored by Supabase on servers in London. Those services receive the normal request information any website sends, such as your IP address.
Purchases
This version uses demonstration purchases only. Nothing is charged, and no payment details are requested or stored. In-game purchases never add Consumerland money.
The game
Consumerland is satire. Every brand, product, price and company in it is invented and none is affiliated with a real business. Consumerland money has no value and cannot be exchanged for anything. The casino uses play money only and involves no real-money gambling.
Deleting your data
Delete your account from the Account page: your account and its cloud save are removed permanently. To remove the copy on this device, use “Wipe save” at the bottom of any page, or clear this site’s data in your browser settings.
